Update 1.0.7 added a door between the café and winery cellar, including in multiplayer. If you cannot put the bucket under the wine press, Hotfix 1.0.8 addresses that specific problem. The developer added a winery cellar door so players can move between the café and cellar without taking the road. The announcement explicitly includes multiplayer, but does not give the exact unlock level or tutorial step. Door access does not establish who owns wine, inventory, or achievement progress in a co-op session.
What if the cellar door will not open?
First distinguish the new cellar shortcut from the outdoor winery gates. A September 24 cellar-door thread reported trouble after the tutorial; its author later said the latest update had resolved it for them.
- Check the installed game version. The shortcut was added in 1.0.7; in co-op, check the host and guest versions.
- Note whether there is no interaction prompt or whether clicking an available prompt does nothing.

- Reach level 25 to unlock the winery.
- Buy winery supplies and seeds from the wine supply shop.
- Plant the saplings, take water from the barrel with a watering can, and grow the grapes.
- Put the grapes into the treading equipment, place the wooden bucket beside it, and jump inside to produce grape must.
- Move the grape must into a basement barrel for fermentation.
- After fermentation completes, bottle the wine.

Hotfix 1.0.8 restores the ability to place the bucket under the press. This is the specific placement failure reported after 1.0.7, rather than a rule about placing a fermentation barrel in the cellar.
In the September 24 bucket-placement thread (opens in a new tab), players already had grapes in the press but could not attach the bucket. The developer confirmed the fault before releasing the hotfix. Reinstalling and storing or replacing the equipment did not solve it for the players who reported trying those steps.
If you are on 1.0.7, update before repeating those workarounds. If you are on 1.0.8 or later and the bucket still cannot be placed, record the version, mode, equipment name, and interaction prompt for a new report.

One player reported taking bottled wine through the shortcut, placing it in the café, and then returning to the winery. The bottles disappeared from the café and reappeared in the winery cabinet. For this symptom, check a single bottle before moving a whole batch: note its wine type, the starting count, where you place it in the café, and the count after returning to the winery. The 1.0.8 press-bucket fix does not document a fix for this transfer problem.
